Denis Herron Game Used Mask - Pittsburgh Penguins, Montreal Canadiens
Denis Herron had three go-rounds with the Penguins after breaking into the NHL with Pittsburgh in 1972-73 and this is the mask Denis wore in the early to mid-‘80s. Familiar to hockey watchers of that era, the mask shows some blue and red paint beneath the black, gold and white, evidence of Herron’s years with the Montreal Canadiens. The mask exhibits great game use with puck marks, scrapes, and chips. It has been matched to photos on these marks.

Brief letter from Greg Harrison reads, "This mask is one of three masks I made for Denis Herron. This mask has seen many transformations originally it was the Montreal Canadiens angular mask like the Meloche style. I did not paint the Pittsburgh version, it was done by someone else."
